Serves 2
8 oz. Penne Reggate (mini-Penne)
3 Tbsp. Olive Oil
2 Tbsp. Butter
1 Tsp. Chopped garlic
Salt
Bring 1-1/2 quarts salted water to a roiling boil, add Penne and boil for 13-15 minutes or until cooked to your preference. Remove from heat and strain. In bottom of cooking pot, combined olive oil, butter and chopped garlic. Cook on low-medium heat for 3-5 minutes just until garlic begins to turn golden brown. Remove from heat and return penne to pot. Mix with a wooden spoon to incorporate sauce and penne thoroughly. Serve with grated parmesan and romano cheeses.
